The Upside Group is an international group of companies specializing in expert solutions in the field of young energy technologies. Our activities focus on asset sourcing and asset management for battery energy storage and solar energy as well as the planning, structuring, financing, construction and operation of such large-scale power plants. We participate in our customers’ projects, trade them or build and hold them in our own portfolio.
Upside is also a global consultant for power plants, financing, turnkey projects and asset management. Upside works in partnership with customers, suppliers and banks on a long-term basis to ensure the profitability and quality of joint projects.

THE TEAM
The entire management team of Upside Group has had many years of experience in the field of renewable energy.
Our core competence is mainly the planning and implementation of international photovoltaic power plant and storage projects, including structuring and financing. In the field of PV power plants alone, the management team has realized a capacity of over 180 MWp within the last 10 years, which corresponds with an investment volume of more than 720 million Euros.
In addition to rooftop installations in Germany, these mainly included open space projects in Europe, Asia and the United States.
Since Upside Group was established in 2010, throughout Germany open space power plants and large-scale industrial roof top projects have been realized and operating assets have been added to the portfolio.
Not only do we provide first-class personal consultation for our customers, we also offer support in dealing with special tasks. We strive to establish long-term partnerships with our customers.
